HypnoBirthing® -The Mongan Method

This childbirth education course is a series of classes that support the mind/body connection and works toward eliminating the fear~tension~pain cycle before, during and after birth. Mothers and their birth partners will be taught relaxation and self hypnosis techniques to reduce fear and tension and create a shorter more comfortable labor. HypnoBirthing®-The Mongan Method is dedicated to preparing women for a positive, relaxed and joyous experience!

Hypnosis is a naturally induced state of relaxed focused concentration. Many of us have already experienced the self hypnotic state of dreaming. Self hypnosis is a relaxed state where the mind/body connection can enhance communication with our subconscious mind. The subconscious is part of our mind that influences what we think, how we feel and the choices we make.

There is no magic to achieving success with self-hypnosis. Almost anyone who chooses to can reach deep relaxation. While in your labor of life, what you will experience using HypnoBirthing®-The Mongan Method is a sensation of focused relaxation. You will be aware of your surroundings and will be able to fully converse with others. You will feel totally relaxed with a sense of peace and calmness.

You can begin HypnoBirthing®-The Mongan Method classes at any time during your pregnancy.

It's recommended that you sign up for this course at least two to three months prior to your due date. The class format is a five week series (5 classes) that are 2.5hrs each.
